1.1 root 1: These files are in VAX APL workspace format. To use them on a
2: PDP-11 you'll need to convert them with "aplcvt" (the source
3: program is in the parent of this directory). The command
4: "aplcvt *" will suffice (it will complain about this file and
5: the directory "fn", but that is of no consequence). The converted
6: files will have a ".pdp" extension

8: The files in the subdirectory "fn" are in ASCII format and can be
9: read into APL with the ")read" command.

11: APL will automatically search for a file in "/usr/lib/apl" if it
12: doesn't find it in the current directory. Thus, it is convenient
13: to put these workspaces (and/or your own library workspaces) into
14: "/usr/lib/apl". (If this pathname isn't convenient, you can redefine
15: it [file a0.c]).
