                     13: Bib is a program for collecting and formatting reference lists in
                     14: documents.  It is a preprocessor to the nroff/troff typesetting
                     15: systems, much like the tbl [.tbl.] and eqn [.eqn.] systems.  Bib takes
                     16: two inputs: a document to be formatted and a library of references.
                     17: Imprecise citations in the source document are replaced by more
                     18: conventional citation strings, the appropriate references are selected
                     19: from the reference file, and commands are generated to format both
                     20: citation and the referenced item in the bibliography.

This archive runs on limited infrastructure. Preserving old code on modern bandwidth. Automated agents are requested to crawl responsibly.
