        ! 3:
        ! 4:                                  MH 6.4
        ! 5:
! 6:     There are a lot of changes between MH.5 and MH 6; a lot of
! 7:     performance enhancements were made, there's also a lot of support
! 8:     for distributed mail (personal mail and bulletin bboards).  If you
! 9:     have a number of machines at your site running 4.2BSD and connected
! 10:     by a high-speed network, you WANT this software.  In addition, mh.6
! 11:     has got a number of generalizations and bug fixes.  There's also a
! 12:     lot more documentation and an Administrator's Guide!
        ! 13:
! 14:     Here are the details:
        ! 15:
        ! 16:        - MH is in the public-domain
        ! 17:        - MH runs on a number of versions of UNIX (4.[123]BSD, V7, SYS5, and
! 18:          XENIX) [sorry, no support for SYS3.]
! 19:        - MH runs on top of a number of mail transport systems
        ! 20:          (MMDF-{I,II}, SendMail, stand-alone (with UUCP support))
        ! 21:
! 22:     Although MH is not "supported" per se, it does have a bug-reporting
! 23:     address, [email protected].  Bug reports (and fixes) are welcome, by
! 24:     the way.  There are also two ARPA Internet discussion groups:
! 25:     [email protected] and [email protected] (somewhat analogous in
        ! 26:     charter to Info-UNIX and UNIX-Wizards).
        ! 27:
! 28:     There are two ways to get a distribution:
        ! 29:
! 30:     1.  If you can FTP to the ARPA Internet, use anonymous FTP to
        ! 31:     louie.udel.edu [10.0.0.96] and retrieve the file portal/mh-6.tar.
! 32:     This is a tar image (approx 3.5MB).  The file portal/mh-6.tar.C is
! 33:     the tar image after being run through the compact program (approx
! 34:     2.3MB).  The file portal/mh-6.tar.Z is the tar image after being run
! 35:     through the compress program (approx 1.2MB).
        ! 36:
! 37:     2.  You can send $50 to the address below.  This covers the cost of
        ! 38:     a magtape, handling, and shipping.  In addition, you'll get a
! 39:     laser-printed hard-copy of the entire MH documentation set.  Be sure
! 40:     to include your USPS address with your check.  Checks should be made
        ! 41:     payable to
        ! 42:
! 43:                Regents of the University of California
        ! 44:
! 45:     and must be drawn on U.S.  funds.  It's also a good idea (though not
! 46:     mandatory) to send a computer mail message to "[email protected]" when
! 47:     you send your check via USPS to ensure minimal turn-around time.
! 48:     The distribution address is:
        ! 49:

        ! 54:        Irvine, CA  92717

        ! 57:
! 58:     Sadly, if you just want the hard-copies of the documentation, you
! 59:     still have to pay the $50.00.  The tar image has the documentation
! 60:     source (the manual is in roff format, but the rest are in TeX
        ! 61:     format).
