1.1       root        1:     If you make all the documentation in one batch, you might find that
                      2:     the TeX output lacks figures/diagrams/tables.  This is apparently
                      3:     due to a bug in make in which it fails to close down file
                      4:     descriptors on an exec.  Although it's tedious, it may just be
                      5:     easier to type:
                      6: 
                      7:        make realwork.dvi trusted.dvi tutorial.dvi
                      8:        make all
                      9: 
                     10:     instead of just
                     11: 
                     12:        make
