                      2: You must recognize that the commands typed at the
                      3: editor are distinct from the commands typed at the
                      4: normal UNIX command interpreter.  In particular,
                      5: neither program knows the commands recognized by the
                      6: other one.  So you must always remember when you
                      7: are talking to the normal command interpreter (the
                      8: one that says % to you) and when you are talking
                      9: to the editor.  The commands 'w' and 'q' are recognized
                     10: by the editor.  The commands 'ls', 'mv' and so forth
                     11: are not.
