                      5: \pgm{sunint} is a window interface developed at UCL.
                      6: It uses the feature of the SUNVIEW environment to give the user a set
                      7: of windows and menus with which they can query the directory.
                      8: As with WIDGET it is included only as an example of an X.500 interface, and how to
                      9: use the procedural interface, it has not been fully developed.

                     11: Like \verb"widget", \verb"sunint" only gives the users access to a subset of the X.500 protocol,
                     12: and as such is a read only interface.

                     14: \section {Using SUNINT}
                     15: The \verb"sunint" interface is invoked with the command \pgm{sunint}

                     17: The program automatically binds you to the local directory, unless a \tt -c\rm\ flag is given,
                     18: when the following argument is taken to be the address of the DSA 
                     19: to connect to.

                     21: Once started the user is given a window with two panels.
                     22: The upper panel displays the current position in the DIT, the lower 
                     23: displays the children.

                     26: Each item in the window has a menu associated with it.  By pressing the
                     27: {\em right} mouse button a menu of available options will be displayed.
                     28: If an option is `{\sl dimmed}' it means that that particular option is

                     31: When a menu item is selected (by moving the mouse over the menu item, and releasing
                     32: the mouse button) the appropriate action is taken.

                     35: When you enter the program, you are automatically placed at the ROOT of the

                     37: To move around the DIT, select the `{\em show children}' menu item for the 
                     38: ROOT entry.  This will display the Distinguished name and objectclass of 
                     39: all the children below the root in the lower panel.
                     40: If you now select the `{\em move to here}' menu item from one of the children,
                     41: The entry will be redisplayed in the top panel, from where it children can
                     42: be displayed.

                     45: The menu item `{\em Show details}' will make the attribute of the entry
