Address interpretation is controlled by a production ! 12: system, which can parse both old and new format addresses. The ! 13: new format is "domain-based", a flexible technique that can ! 14: handle many common situations. Sendmail is not intended to perform ! 15: user interface functions. ! 16: ! 17: Sendmail will replace delivermail in the Berkeley 4.2 distribution. ! 18: Several major hosts are now or will soon be running sendmail. ! 19: This change will affect any users that route mail through a sendmail ! 20: gateway.
