                     16: DESCRIPTION
                     17:      _X_d_v_i is a program which runs under the X window system. It
                     18:      is used to preview DVI files, such as produced by TeX.
                     19: 
                     20:      The -p option defines the pixels per inch for font selec-
                     21:      tion.  Default value is 300.
                     22: 
                     23:      The -s option defines the initial shrink factor.  Default
                     24:      value is 4.
                     25: 
                     26:      The -l option causes used fonts to be listed on diagnostic
                     27:      output.

                     29: MOUSE
                     30:      Clicking the right button will display the next page.
                     31:      Clicking the left button will display the previous page.
                     32:      Clicking the right button with the Shift key held down will
                     33:      display the next window full to the right.  Clicking the
                     34:      left button with the Shift key held down will display the
                     35:      previous window full to the left. Clicking the middle but-
                     36:      ton will display the next window full down.  Clicking the
                     37:      middle button with the Shift key held down will display the
                     38:      next window full up.

                     40: KEYBOARD
                     41:      You can exit the program by typing `q', control-C, or
                     42:      control-D.  You can move to the next page with `n', `f', or
                     43:      SPACE.  You can move the the previous page with `p', `b', or
                     44:      control-H.  You can move up a window-full with `u', down
                     45:      with `d', left with `l', and right with `r'.  You can change
                     46:      the shrink factor by typing in the number (one or more
                     47:      digits), followed by `s'. If you type `s' without a number,
                     48:      the smallest factor that makes the entire page fit in the
                     49:      window will be used.  You can force redisplay with control-
                     50:      L.  You can move a relative number of pages by typing an
                     51:      optional `-', a number (one or more digits) and then car-
                     52:      riage return or line feed.  You can move to a specific page
                     53:      by typing a number (one or more digits) and then `g'.  You
                     54:      can move to the last page by typing `g' without a number.
