        ! 15: DESCRIPTION
        ! 16:      _X_w_u_d is an X Window System (protocol version 10) window
! 17:      image undumping utility.  _X_w_u_d allows X users to display
! 18:      window images that were saved in a specially formatted win-
! 19:      dow dump file.  The window  image will  appear  at  the
! 20:      coordinates of the original window from which the dump was
! 21:      taken.  This is a crude version of a more advanced utility
! 22:      that will be released in the future.  The window dump file
! 23:      format is currently under development; no guarantee of
! 24:      upward compatibility is made: the format will be completely
! 25:      different under V11. Monochrome dump files are displayed on
! 26:      a color monitor in the default foreground and background
        ! 27:      colors.
        ! 28:
! 29:      NOTE: Windows can only be undumped on a display have at
! 30:      least as many bit planes as the original display.
        ! 31:
        ! 32: ARGUMENT SUMMARY
! 33:      -help   Print out the `Usage:' command syntax summary.
        ! 34:
        ! 35:      -in _f_i_l_e
! 36:             This argument allows the user to explicitly specify
! 37:             the input file on the command line.  The default is
! 38:             to take input from standard in.
        ! 39:
        ! 40:      -inverse
! 41:             Applies to monochrome window dump files only. If
! 42:             selected, the window is undumped in reverse video.
! 43:             This is mainly needed because the display is `write
! 44:             white', whereas dump files intended eventually to be
! 45:             written to a printer are generally `write black'.
        ! 46:
        ! 47:      _h_o_s_t:_d_i_s_p_l_a_y
! 48:             This  argument  allow  you  to  specify the host and
! 49:             display number on which to display the window dump.
! 50:             For example `xwud orpheus:1' would specify that the
! 51:             dump will appear on display `1' on the machine
! 52:             `orpheus'.  By default, _x_w_u_d uses the host and

! 54:             DISPLAY, and therefore this argument is not normally
