                      9:      Xnest - Recursive X window system implementation

                     11: DESCRIPTION
                     12:      This implementation allows you to run an X server in a win-
                     13:      dow of another X server.  Full functionality is supported.
                     14:      The number of planes provided by this pseudo-device is the
                     15:      same as the underlying device.  The cursor sizes, tile
                     16:      sizes, and brush sizes supported are also the same.  The
                     17:      number of color cells provided is specified with a ._X_d_e_-
                     18:      _f_a_u_l_t_s option.

                     20:      Aside from being a good hack, this implementation exists
                     21:      primarily to aid system developers when debugging the
                     22:      device-independent portion of the server. The debugging can
                     23:      be accomplished without requiring a second physical display.

                     25:      Exposures on (and resizings of) the window are ignored, and
                     26:      so corrupt the "screen".

                     28: X DEFAULTS
                     29:      Accepts the following defaults (for the program "X", not
                     30:      "Xnest"):

                     33:             Set the border width of the window.

                     35:      Border  Set the border color.

                     37:      CellExponent
                     38:             If not set or set to zero, a monochrome psuedo-
                     39:             display is created.  Otherwise, if a value of N is
                     40:             provided, specifies the maximum number color cells
                     41:             to be 2^N.  The number actually provided will be a
                     42:             power of two, but may be less than 2^N if allocation
                     43:             fails.

                     46:      Uses the environment variable ``DISPLAY'' to specify which
                     47:      display to use.
