To make a new copy of a file, the easiest
way is to use the "cp" command.
If you type 
  cp x y
a copy of file "x" is made and named "y".
This directory contains a file named "george";
make a copy named  "steve".
Then type "ready".

this is file george

#cmp steve george
#log
