This simple example program is here to tell you about the NeXT user interface guidelines. We hope that you, as developers, are following the conventions of the NeXT environment in designing your user interface. Consistency across programs makes it easier for users to understand and use many different programs. This trivial program has the full recommended menu structure and provides context-senstive help. The help topics are sections of the User Interface Guide which explain the conventions about structuring menus and using and arranging controls. For more detail on these topics, the definitive resource is the User Interface Book of the Technical Documentation. You can access it on-line using the Digital Librarian.
