.SH DESCRIPTION
The ckaudit call requests the current audit
trail security status of an open file.
.I Fdes
is a file discriptor returned from a creat, open, or fcntl
system call.
.SH RETURN VALUE
Upon successful completion the current audit trail security 
status (SECURE or UNSECURE) will be returned.  Otherwise, a
value of -1 is returned and errno is set to indicate the error.
