.TH KEEPRLOGIN 5 "15 January 1983"
.SH NAME
keeprlogin \- table of hosts to have longer idle sessions
.SH DESCRIPTION
The
.I /etc/keeprlogin
is a list specifying hosts from which inactive sessions via
.I rlogin(1C)
can last up to half an hour. If the remote host name is not in
this file, the
.I rlogind
daemon will disconnect a session inactive for more than 5 minutes.
A session is inactive if there is no terminal I/Os.

Each entry line in the file specifies the
.I official
name of a host to have longer idle login sessions. The host name is
defined in
.I /etc/hosts.
