                     12: EOF is  an indicator that is returned  by several STDIO functions
                     13: to  indicate that  the current  file position is  the end  of the
                     14: file.

                     16: Many STDIO functions, when they read EOF, set the end-of-file in-
                     17: dicator that  is associated with  the stream being  read.  Before
                     18: more data can be  read from the stream, its end-of-file indicator
                     19: must be cleared.   Resetting the file-position indicator with the
                     20: functions fseek,  fsetpos, or ftell will  clear the indicator, as
                     21: will returning  a character to  the stream with  the function un-
                     22: getc.
