Check if a character is a lower-case letter

iinntt iisslloowweerr(_c) iinntt _c;

islower  tests whether  the  argument _c  is  a lower-case  letter
(aa-zz).  It returns  a number other than zero if  _c is is a lower-
case letter, and zero if it is not.  islower assumes that _c is an
ASCII character or EOF.
