                     12: COHERENT assigns each active process a unique process id, or pid,
                     13: and uses  the pid to identify the process.   kill sends signal to
                     14: each pid.   signal must  be one of  the numbers described  in the
                     15: header <signal.h>  or <sys/msig.h>.  The  signal can be  given by
                     16: number or by name, as ddeeffiinneed in these header files.  By default,
                     17: signal is SIGTERM, which terminates a given process.

                     19: If pid  is zero,  kill signals each  process started by  the user
                     20: from the same tty.

                     22: The shell sh prints the process id of a process if the command is
                     23: detached.  The ps command  prints a list of all active processes,
                     24: with process ids and command line arguments.
