                     12: The script /uussrr/bbiinn/mmooddeemmiinniitt  can be used to initialize a modem.
                     13: In its  default form, this  script sets a  Hayes-compatible modem
                     14: into  no-echo mode,  turns off  command  responses, and  turns on
                     15: auto-answering.

                     18: ensure  that your  modem is  properly  initialized when  you boot
