The following  symbols are set by  the linker ld when  it links a
program together:


     eeddaattaa     Location after shared and private data
     eenndd       Location after uninitialized data segment
     eetteexxtt     Location after text segments


These symbols may be  read from the program's symbol table, e.g.,
for debugging.
