1.1     ! root        1: env - execute a command in an environment

        !             3: usage: env [-] [VARIABLE=value ...] [command args]

        !             5: Executes "command" with "args", modifying the existing environment
        !             6: by doing the requested assignments.  The "-" option means that the
        !             7: environment should be _replaced_ with the list assignements, otherwise
        !             8: the assignments are added to the environment.
        !             9: If "command" is ommitted, the resulting environment is printed.
