        !             9:     TIMER      -- "BIGJOB2," the "use a timer to check the queue" method
        !            10:     PEEK       -- "BIGJOB3," which peeks at the message queue (Windows sol'n)
        !            11:     THREAD2    -- "BIGJOB4," which creates a second thread to do some work 
        !            12:     OBJECT     -- "BIGJOB5," which creates a second message queue for the
        !            13:                   new thread to work with.
