8: MISBEHAV -- the misbehaved "BIGJOB1" which locks input away
9: TIMER -- "BIGJOB2," the "use a timer to check the queue" method
10: PEEK -- "BIGJOB3," which peeks at the message queue (Windows sol'n)
11: THREAD2 -- "BIGJOB4," which creates a second thread to do some work
12: OBJECT -- "BIGJOB5," which creates a second message queue for the
13: new thread to work with.
