1.1       root        1: This is an experimental netnews configurator.  It's really a crazy
                      2: awk script that reads in options and generates commands to edit template
                      3: defs.h and Makefile.  System defaults are in the *.dflt files; user data
                      4: is in a similar form, and is supplied as a list of files on the 'config'
                      5: command.

                      9:        +option                 Turn on option
                     10:        -option                 Turn of option
                     11:        option=value            Turn on option and supply a value

                     13: In the default files, '@@' is used as the pattern for which a value is
                     14: substituted.  The string '-option=value' is legal, and can be used to
                     15: supply a default value for an option that is normally turned off.

                     17: The special option 'version' is used to indicate the underlying system;
                     18: it should by 'v7', 'usg', or 'ihcc'.  'Makefile', 'postnews', and 'install'
                     19: may be respecified individually in a similar fashion.
