1.1       root        1: Incomplete list of programs that work with UAE. If you have something to add,
                      2: mail me.
                      3: Every Kickstart version seems to work, provided it is not a 68020 only
                      4: Kickstart, and that the image file isn't corrupted (of course).
                      5: 
                      6: The following programs were tested by me:
                      7:  - Powerpacker 2.3b
                      8:  - DME, DICE (compiles at least transdisk and transrom)
                      9:  - Turrican I: Works 100% now, unlike in previous versions.
                     10:    In world 3 (the vertically scrolling levels) they achieve multi-level
                     11:    scrolling by means of _awful_ copper and sprite tricks. It works, but these
                     12:    levels are tremendously slow.
                     13:  - Katakis (also known as Denaris)
                     14:  - Zork Zero
                     15:  - Corruption, Fish
                     16:  - Holiday Lemmings 1994 (always nice to watch them blow up)
                     17:  - Champions of Krynn (including harddisk installation on the unixfs.device)
                     18:  - AmigaCPE (my CPC emulator :-)
                     19:  - SimCPM (CP/M emulator, ran some Infocom adventures with it)
                     20:  - DMS 1.11
                     21:  - Lots of demos
                     22:  - TheA64Package
                     23:  - AIBB 5.5 and AIBB 6.5. These work, but you need the "-S 3" option for
                     24:    maximum sound hardware compatibility (or start AIBB with the "-b" switch).
                     25:    Otherwise, the stupid beep when pressing gadgets doesn't work and the
                     26:    program gets into an endless loop.
                     27:    Oh yes, and the CPU is detected as running at InfMHz :)

                     34:    Shanghai, R-Type 1 & 2, Battle Squadron, The Sentinel

                     38:  - Maxon Assembler 1.1

                     70: Some programs only work on some Amigas, or with some configurations of UAE.

                     74: Incompatible with more than 512K chipram:
                     75:  - Silents "ICE" demo (characters missing in sinusscroll part with more chip)

                     77: Requires exception 3 and is therefore incompatible with 68020+ CPUs:

                     80: Requires slow memory (-s option), even if there's plenty other memory:
                     81:  - Silents "Global Trash" demo

                     86:  - Silents "Hardwired" demo (times multiplication instructions and refuses to
                     87:    work if they are too fast)
                     88:  - Andromeda "Multica" demo (directly processes blitter output without
                     89:    waiting for the blitter)
                     90:  - Turrican I: Only the "Rainbow Arts" intro, it will abort too early and
                     91:    continue loading if the CPU is faster than a 68000. Otherwise fine.

This archive runs on limited infrastructure. Preserving old code on modern bandwidth. Automated agents are requested to crawl responsibly.
