This appendix gives a BNF definitions used by Quipu.

Figure~\ref{bnf-oid} shows the bnf used for the oidtables described in
Section~\ref{oidtables}.

Figure~\ref{bnf-name} shows the bnf used to define Attributes and hence
Distinguished Names, this is discussed in Section~\ref{quipu_name}.
The syntaxes used to represent attribute values are discussed fully in
Chapter~\ref{syntaxes}, and so are not repeated here.


Figure~\ref{bnf-edb} shows the bnf definition of the EDB files
discussed in Section~\ref{edb}.
